1. Why This Disclaimer Exists

Courses sold through courses.instilligent.com ("Courses") help learners prepare for examinations, build skills, and study technical topics. The Courses are independent study material. They are not official products of, and are not endorsed by, any of the certification bodies, vendors, or organisations whose names or examinations they may help you prepare for.

This document explains the limits of what our Courses are and what they are not. It works alongside the Terms and Conditions and the Refund Policy.

2. Study Material, Not Official Content

Each Course is independent third-party study material owned and published by Instilligent Limited (NZBN 9429041896853). See section 6 for how Course material is produced (Instilligent operates an automated production pipeline using artificial intelligence tooling).

• Our practice questions are generated from publicly available examination domain descriptions and public documentation. They are not copies of, and are not derived from, any official examination's confidential question bank.
• Our explanations, walkthroughs, slides, and study notes are produced for Instilligent Limited using our own production pipeline (see section 6). Where we cite third-party sources, we say so.
• Where a Course refers to a third-party examination by name, the reference is descriptive only — it tells you what the Course is intended to help you prepare for. The reference does not imply that the third party has reviewed, approved, endorsed, sponsored, or partnered with us in any way.
• Please do not share confidential examination content with us. If you are bound by an exam-taker non-disclosure agreement with Anthropic PBC or any other certifying body, please do not include real exam questions, answers, or other confidential content in any communication you send us. If you do, we will not retain it, will not use it in any Course, and will not act on it.

Specifically with respect to Anthropic PBC and any of its certification programmes:

• Claude™ and Anthropic® are trademarks of Anthropic PBC.
• Instilligent Limited is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in partnership with Anthropic PBC.
• Our practice examinations are not Anthropic content and are not derived from Anthropic's confidential examination materials. Buyers of any Anthropic certification examination are bound by Anthropic's own examination terms (including any confidentiality obligations) — those obligations sit between you and Anthropic, not between you and us.
• Where a Course references the structure, domains, or topic weightings of an Anthropic certification, that information is drawn from Anthropic's publicly published examination guides and is used descriptively.

The same principle applies to any other vendor or examination body whose name appears in a Course title or description.

3. No Guarantee of Exam Outcomes

Studying with our Courses does not guarantee that you will:

• Pass any examination;
• Achieve any particular score;
• Obtain any certification, qualification, or licence;
• Meet any employment, immigration, professional, or regulatory requirement.

Examination outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your own preparation, the testing conditions on the day, changes to the examination by the certifying body, your prior experience, and the specific questions you are asked. Our Courses are one preparation tool among many — we strongly encourage you to also use the official study material published by the relevant certifying body.

If you do not pass an examination after using our Courses, the Refund Policy sets out the refund position. We do not provide automatic refunds for unsuccessful examination attempts.

4. Educational Use Only — Not Professional Advice

Courses sold through courses.instilligent.com are for educational and self-study purposes only. They are not, and must not be relied on as, a substitute for:

• Professional advice of any kind, including legal, financial, accounting, tax, security, medical, engineering, architectural, regulatory, immigration, or compliance advice;
• Vendor-specific guidance about how to deploy, operate, or secure any particular product, service, or system in your environment;
• Official examination preparation material published by the certifying body.

Where a Course discusses topics that could be relevant to a real-world decision (for example, a system-design pattern, a security control, a compliance approach), the discussion is illustrative only. You are responsible for getting suitable professional advice before acting in production.

5. Accuracy, Currency, and Change

The technology landscape — including Anthropic's products, the Model Context Protocol, and any related certification examinations — changes frequently. We take reasonable care to keep our Courses current, but:

• A Course reflects what was accurate at the date of publication (or, where shown, the last-updated date on the Course page);
• Subsequent vendor changes — new models, new APIs, deprecated features, examination updates, syllabus changes, new certification tiers — may make parts of a Course out of date;
• We do not guarantee that a Course will be kept in lock-step with vendor changes, and we do not warrant that the Course as you experience it on any given day exactly reflects the current state of any vendor's product or examination.

If you notice content that appears materially out of date or incorrect, please email [email protected] so we can review.

6. How Our Courses Are Produced

Our Course material is produced using an automated content pipeline operated by Instilligent Limited that uses artificial intelligence tools, including large language models, to generate the bulk of the content.

We want to be straightforward with you about what this means in practice:

• We do not represent that every Course item has been individually reviewed by a human before publication.
• We do not currently run automated originality scans against competitor question banks, multi-model cross-checks between AI providers, or automated consistency checks against vendor documentation. We may implement those capabilities in future; if and when we do, we will update this section to describe what is actually live at that time.
• Where Course material has been hand-authored by a person (for example, our earliest practice-exam product), that is the exception today rather than the rule for newer material.

Because Course material is AI-generated:

• It may contain factual errors, made-up content, or information that has gone out of date that the production pipeline did not catch.
• The accuracy and currency expectations in section 5 apply, and so do the limitations of liability and reliance disclaimers in sections 4 and 9 and in the Terms and Conditions.
• If you find an error or anything that looks materially incorrect, please email [email protected]. We will review the report and, where the error is confirmed material, refund the price you paid for the affected Course as set out in the Refund Policy (we may not always be able to manually correct the Course content itself — see the Refund Policy for the position).

Despite being produced with AI tooling, Course material remains the intellectual property of Instilligent Limited and is licensed to you under the terms of the Terms and Conditions (section 7). Course material may not be used to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any other machine-learning or artificial-intelligence model — this restriction is contractual and applies independently of whether AI was used in our production pipeline.

7. Third-Party Names, Logos, and Trademarks

Where a Course mentions third-party names, logos, products, or trademarks (for example, "Claude", "Anthropic", "Model Context Protocol", certifying bodies, cloud providers, software products, or examination programmes), including where those names appear in Course titles as well as in body content:

• All such names and marks remain the property of their respective owners;
• Mentions are descriptive references made in accordance with honest practices in industrial and commercial matters (per section 95 of the New Zealand Trade Marks Act 2002), intended to help learners locate, understand, and prepare for the topic;
• Mentions do not imply any sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, partnership, certification, accreditation, or commercial relationship between Instilligent Limited and the owner of the name or mark, unless we explicitly state otherwise in writing on a specific Course page.

If you are a rights holder and believe a Course misuses your name, mark, or material, please contact [email protected] and we will investigate promptly.

8. Links and External Resources

A Course may link to external websites, vendor documentation, or other third-party resources. We provide those links for convenience and do not control the linked sites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or privacy practices of external sites.

9. Risk Warning

You are responsible for evaluating whether a Course is suitable for you before you purchase. If you are unsure whether a Course will help you prepare for a specific examination or learn a specific topic, do not buy it — contact [email protected] first with your questions.

If you rely on a Course for a real-world decision (career, employment, compliance, technical architecture, business strategy, examination scheduling), you do so at your own risk and subject to the Limitation of Liability section of the Terms and Conditions.

10. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Product Disclaimer limits or excludes any right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. We do our best to describe Courses accurately and to avoid misleading or deceptive conduct. If you believe a Course was misleadingly described, please contact us at [email protected] so we can review.

11. Commercial Relationships and Cross-Promotion

Instilligent Limited operates several other software products in addition to the Courses sold through this storefront, including (without limitation) ModularCompliance, BossBoard, and Mastering Moss. Some Courses on this storefront — particularly free or low-priced "introduction" Courses — are designed in part to introduce concepts that those other Instilligent products help with, and we benefit commercially when Course buyers go on to use those products.

You should treat any in-Course recommendation of an Instilligent product as a recommendation we have a direct financial interest in, not as an independent third-party endorsement. We disclose the relationship plainly: the product being discussed is operated by Instilligent Limited, the same company providing the Course.

Where a Course discusses, demonstrates, or recommends an Instilligent product:

• The substantive Course content stands on its own. You can complete the Course and apply what you learn without ever using the related Instilligent product.
• You are under no obligation to use any product we mention.
• We do not condition Course completion, refunds, or any other Course-related right on signing up for an Instilligent product.

If a Course discusses or compares a product that is not owned by Instilligent Limited, that product is owned by the third party named — see section 7 for trademark handling.

12. Updates to This Disclaimer

We may update this Product Disclaimer from time to time. We will update the Last updated date at the top of this document. Material changes do not apply retrospectively to Courses you have already purchased — the version in force at the time of your purchase continues to apply to that purchase, except where the change is required by law or by the rights holder of a third-party name or mark referred to in a Course.
